Are you a student?
People who are studying full time are entitled to a discounted Individual Membership fee. ACRS Membership is a fantastic way for students to grow their careers through networking and approaching fellow members for mentorship opportunities. Membership gives you access to your local Chapter, where you can gain experience by getting involved in Chapter Committees, organising Chapter events, and collaborating on submissions to local governments.
Are you in a Low and Middle Income Country (LMIC)?
Individuals that are from Low and Middle Income Countries (LMICs) are entitled to join the ACRS at a discounted rate to ensure we learn from the expertise of road safety professionals and practitioners across the globe. LMIC countries are defined as per the World Bank Listing.
ACRS Membership provides opportunities to network with people inside and outside of your country, allowing you to share and discuss your country’s road safety issues with like-minded people from around the world. You’ll also have access to our International Outreach Chapter which has members from over 30 countries. Road safety practices are shared at an international level, and you’ll receive a weekly e-newsletter sharing road safety news from around the world. Frequently Asked Questions
How do I join?
You can join the ACRS by completing the online Individual Membership form, where you can also submit payment online through Stripe or request an invoice.
How do I renew?
ACRS memberships are renewed on a rolling basis after 12 months. 4 weeks before your expiry date you will receive an email from our accounting software, Xero, including your invoice and a link to pay online. If you haven’t received an email from Xero or need your invoice resent to you, please contact admin@acrs.org.au for assistance. You can learn more about renewing on our Renew page.
How long will my membership last?
All memberships run for 12 months from the date of payment.
How can I change my personal details?
Your Profile can be found under Manage My Membership. Here you can update your contact details, opt-into Networks, and opt-into the Member Directory. You can view a PDF of more detailed instructions here.
How can I change my membership type?
If you have finished studying and want to move to a Personal Membership, or have retired and want to move to a Concession Membership, you can change your membership type when renewing by following the instructions on our Renew page. If you want to change your membership type outside of renewal time, please contact admin@acrs.org.au.
I think my workplace should join – how do I find out more?
Corporate Memberships can list multiple staff to receive the benefits of Individual Memberships whilst being represented by your brand. Your organisational image will also be promoted, with your logo placed on the ACRS website and Weekly Alerts, and brand recognition at the annual conference (subject to the level of Corporate Membership).
