Are you in a Low and Middle Income Country (LMIC)?
Organisations that are wholly owned and operated in Low and Middle Income Countries (LMICs) are entitled to join the ACRS at a discounted rate to ensure we learn from the expertise of road safety professionals and practitioners across the globe. LMIC countries are defined as per the World Bank Listing.
ACRS Membership provides opportunities to network with people inside and outside of your country, allowing you to share and discuss your country’s road safety issues with like-minded people from around the world. You’ll also have access to our International Outreach Chapter which has members from over 30 countries. Road safety practices are shared at an international level, and you’ll receive a weekly e-newsletter sharing road safety news from around the world. Frequently Asked Questions
How do I join?
You can join the ACRS by completing the online Corporate Membership form, and an invoice will be available to the Main Contact. Please note that due to card fees, it is requested that Corporate Members submit payment through bank transfer by using the bank details listed on our Renew page and on the invoice.
How do I renew?
ACRS memberships are renewed on a rolling basis after 12 months, and before the expiry date the Main Contact will receive an email from us including your membership information and instructions on how to renew. You can find more detailed information on how to renew by visiting the Renew page.
How long will the Corporate Membership last?
All memberships run for 12 months from the date of payment.
How can I change the Corporate Membership details?
The Main Contact of the Corporate Membership can update the membership information by visiting Manage My Membership. The Main Contact can adjust who is listed under the Corporate Membership at any time, and this will determine who is eligible to receive member benefits like the Weekly Alert and ACRS event discounts. To change the Main Contact, please contact admin@acrs.org.au.
How can I upgrade the Corporate Membership to a higher level?
Main Contacts can upgrade their Corporate Membership (e.g. from Bronze to Silver) during the renewal process, which you can learn more about on our Renew page. To upgrade a Corporate Membership outside of renewal time, please contact admin@acrs.org.au so we can organise a special invoice. Once this invoice is paid, the Corporate Membership type will be upgraded and you will begin receiving upgraded member benefits in line with that membership type. This may include having your organisation’s logo listed on our homepage, so we will ask you for any specific information we need at the time of upgrade.
We are a small not-for-profit organisation – are there any other options?
Non-government or local road safety groups supported principally by volunteers may be eligible for our Community Organisation Membership. Visit the Community Organisation Membership page to learn about this membership type and the eligibility requirements.
