Frequently Asked Questions

How do I join?

You can join the ACRS by completing the online Corporate Membership form, and an invoice will be sent to the Accounting Contact. Please note that due to card fees, it is recommended that Corporate Members submit payment through bank transfer by using the bank details listed on our Renew page.

How do I renew?

ACRS Memberships are renewed on a rolling basis after 12 months, and 4 weeks before the expiry date the Accounting Contact will receive an email from our accounting software, Xero, with the invoice attached. If the Accounting Contact hasn’t received an email from Xero or needs the invoice resent, please contact admin@acrs.org.au for assistance. You can learn more about renewing on our Renew page.

How long will the Corporate Membership last?

All memberships run for 12 months from the date of joining.

How can I change the Corporate Membership details?

The Main Person or Accounting Contact of the Corporate Membership can update the membership information, including the membership name, listed staff, Chapter, etc. by contacting admin@acrs.org.au. The Main Person/Accounting Contact can adjust who is listed under the Corporate Membership at any time, and this will determine who is eligible to receive member benefits like the Weekly Alert and ACRS event discounts.

How can I upgrade the Corporate Membership to a higher level?

To upgrade a Corporate Membership (e.g. from Bronze to Silver) please contact admin@acrs.org.au and our Membership Officer will organise a new invoice. Once this invoice is paid, the Corporate Membership type will be upgraded and you will begin receiving upgraded member benefits in line with that membership type. This may include having your organisation’s logo listed on our homepage, so our membership team will ask you for any specific information they need at the time of upgrade.

We are a small not-for-profit organisation – are there any other options?

Non-government or local road safety groups supported principally by volunteers are eligible for Community Group Membership. This is priced at the Individual Membership rate, and you can learn more here.
