ACRS SA Chapter and TPA SA Road Safety Seminar

The ACRS SA Chapter and TPA were pleased to co-host the SA Road Safety Seminar as part of Australian Road Safety Week on Thursday 21 May.

The seminar brought together professionals from policing, government, research and industry to explore current road safety challenges and initiatives across South Australia and nationally. Attendees heard from an excellent lineup of speakers, including Kirsty Kelly, CEO at TPA; Senior Sergeant Susan O’Connor, Coordinator of the Road Safety Section at SAPOL; Abigail Anderson, SAPOL’s Road Safety Ambassador, Prue Oswin, Founder of Sidelines Traffic; Gayle Buckby, Principal Transport Planner at the Department of Infrastructure and Transport; Alistair McDonald, Active Transport Asset Manager at the City of Onkaparinga; Matthew Vertudaches, Senior Traffic Engineer at RAA; and Associate Professor Lisa Wundersitz from CASR at Adelaide University.

The seminar provided a valuable opportunity for attendees and speakers to share ideas, strengthen connections and continue important conversations around improving road safety outcomes across South Australia.”
