On Friday, 18 September, the South Australian Police (SAPOL) welcomed ACRS members for an informative and engaging visit to learn more about the Road Safety Centre’s displays, educational programs and community road safety initiatives delivered across South Australia to all ages.
It was fantastic to hear about the important work of the SAPOL Road Safety Centre team in building the awareness, knowledge and skills of road users through lifelong learning.
The Centre features a mock roadway and a range of interactive activities, including car and motorcycle simulators and VR headsets showcasing crash scenarios. These engaging resources are designed to educate community members, build road safety awareness and encourage safer road user behaviours in an enjoyable and interactive environment.
