You are invited to join the ACRS Women in Road Safety Network (WiRSN) for a webinar examining international case studies and research on child restraints and safety in vehicles.
Two out of three child car seats are installed incorrectly, placing children at risk. This webinar will explore two international case studies and review the often-misunderstood period of transitioning from child restraint to seatbelt.
PRESENTERS:
- Quynh Anh Phan, Program Coordinator at AIP Foundation will discuss the case study A Multi-Stakeholder Advocacy Approach: Integrating Child Restraint System (CRS) Regulations into Vietnam’s 2024 Law of Road Traffic and Safety.
- Dr Inam Ahmad from the Monash University Accident Research Centre will present on child restraint use in the United Arab Emirates.
- Stacie Powell, Research Fellow at the George Institute for Global Health will present child restraint research and five steps for assisting parents in transitioning out of booster seats.
We look forward to seeing you there.
