Presenter: Sofia Carlmark – Statewide Manager P.A.R.T.Y Program SA

P.A.R.T.Y. is the Prevent Alcohol and Risk-Related Trauma in Youth Program – an injury awareness and prevention program. It is a dynamic, interactive, educational initiative designed for young people between the ages of 15-19 years old. P.A.R.T.Y. Program aims to show students first hand some of the tragic consequences that can occur if they participate in risk-taking behaviour, as well as the choices they can make to avoid trauma and injury.

Topic: Latest SAPOL initiatives to address drink driving
Presenter: Snr Const Peter Bulmer – SAPOL Road Safety Section

SAPOL have recently been recognised for their highly successful drink driving campaign “Selfish Pri*k” winning multiple awards. The campaign targets those who ignore the dangers of drink driving, using simple emotive messaging. Post campaign research indicated that the campaign reached 81% awareness, the highest in five years. See all SAPOL road safety campaigns here.
