You are kindly invited to join the ACRS NSW Chapter, in person or online, as we discuss Aboriginal-led initiatives, policies and practices to improve road safety outcomes for these communities.
This event will explore the latest research delivered in partnership with Aboriginal communities including work reducing injury in children, and on driver licensing support programs in New South Wales and South Australia.

Jaymee Beveridge, Transport for NSW Director Aboriginal Outcomes
A proud Murri woman from Bindal, far north Queensland, Jaymee has family ties to the Torres Strait Island. She is responsible for driving strategic transformation by leading the integration of Aboriginal outcomes across Transport strategies, policies, and programs.
Kellee Evans, Senior Manager, Transport for NSW Aboriginal Strategy and Advancement
As a proud Wiradjuri and Ngunnawal woman from Euabalong and Lake Cargelligo, Kellee Evans has dedicated her career to improving outcomes for Aboriginal people through genuine partnerships, strategic leadership and systems change.
Scientia Prof Rebecca Ivers AMI
Injury researcher who has led multiple research studies in road safety over the past 20 years. She is Deputy Dean Global Engagement and External Education in the Faculty of Medicine and Health, UNSW Sydney. Her research has a strong focus on equity, implementation, sustainability and capacity development.
A/Prof Courtney Ryder
Ryder is a nationally recognised Aboriginal injury epidemiologist, Co-Director of the FHMRI Health Equity Impact Program, Discipline Lead for Trauma and Injury at Flinders University, and a Matthew Flinders Fellow. She has a background in biomedical engineering and a PhD examining health inequities in Aboriginal children with acute burn injuries.
In-person attendees are welcome to arrive from 4:30pm, noting the building sign-in process at the ground floor reception. Following the event, attendees are invited join NSW Chapter Committee members for dinner and refreshments nearby (at own cost).
