NOTE: This is an ACRS Members Only Event
ACRS Victorian Chapter members are warmly invited to attend the 2026 ACRS Victorian Chapter Annual General Meeting being held on Tuesday 7 July 2026 from 9:30am – 1:30pm at the Road2Zero Complex, Melbourne Museum.
Following the formal AGM proceedings, we are delighted to welcome Glenn Weir APM for a special interview and audience Q&A session.
Glenn recently concluded an outstanding 46-year career with Victoria Police, serving across a wide range of operational and leadership roles. His final six years were spent as Assistant Commissioner, Road Policing Command, where he played a significant role in shaping road safety policy, partnerships and enforcement across Victoria. Glenn has also contributed to the broader road safety profession through his involvement with ACRS, including serving as Chair of the Policing Network and as a member of the Finance and Risk Committee.
In a session titled “46 Years of Service: Reflections from Glenn Weir APM“, we will explore the lessons, challenges and opportunities that have emerged throughout his career, and discuss what lies ahead as we continue working towards eliminating deaths and serious injuries on our roads.
The session will conclude with an opportunity for members to ask questions and contribute to the discussion before we break for lunch and networking.
As we look ahead, we are also keen to hear from members who may be interested in becoming more involved with the Victorian Chapter. If you are interested in joining the Chapter Committee or contributing to one of our working groups, we would love to hear from you.
