The ACRS International Outreach Chapter (IOC) is an extension of the demonstrated road safety value of the ACRS which began in Australia and is a welcome addition to the eight Chapters which have been running localised activities across Australia and New Zealand. This initiative is being supported by the Australian Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Cities and Regional Development.
IOC Purpose
  • Bring together individuals/organisations interested to contribute to road safety improvements in Asia & LMICs;
  • Share & discuss learnings, experiences & opportunities with fellow IOC members;
  • Encourage, support & advise each other on specific issues/challenges through expertise, experience & evidence sharing;
  • Open up collaboration & partnership opportunities.
IOC Meetings As part of the ARSC2021, a special IOC event will be held. This event is open to all whether or not you are an IOC member. We welcome everyone to register and join this special event! This pre-Conference event will be the 4th IOC meeting where we as a group will have the opportunity to discuss the survey results and contribute to shaping the future of the IOC. We will also have the opportunity to learn from each other about the road safety work to date and intentions for the next decade by the members representing multiple countries around the world. Those who are not yet IOC members are welcome to join this 4th IOC meeting and become part of this exciting group of people dedicated to improving road safety outcomes in LMICs. Please register for this IOC event here:
