The ACRS SA Chapter hosted a hybrid seminar on Wednesday 5 August, Vehicle Safety Now and into the Future.
The event provided a fantastic opportunity for attendees to connect with fellow road safety professionals and hear from two local experts, Dr Sam Doecke (Senior Research Fellow, Vehicles Theme Lead: Centre for Automotive Safety Research, Adelaide University) and Rita Excell (Transformation Specialist, Futurist: Rita Excell Advisory), who shared valuable insights into current vehicle safety technologies and what the future holds for vehicle safety.
Presentations were titled: Vehicle Safety Update – Learnings and Observations from the International Technical Conference on the Enhanced Safety of Vehicles and Assessing the Safety of Driverless Vehicles – Looking Beyond the Hype.
