Record 355 submissions received for 2026 ARSC

The Australasian College of Road Safety (ACRS) has received a record 355 submissions for the 2026 Australasian Road Safety Conference (ARSC), to be held in Sydney from 26–29 October 2026.

Submissions were received from more than 300 authors representing 32 countries, demonstrating strong global engagement with the conference. Notably, 35% of submitting authors are new to the road safety field, and the submissions include a mix of practitioners (61%) and researchers (39%), reflecting the conference theme From Evidence to Action: Shaping a Brighter Future.

Topics addressed in the submissions span more than 30 areas of road safety, including crash data analysis, road user behaviour, safe speeds, road design, policy development, and enforcement.

The draft conference program will be released in May 2026.
