Centre for Automotive Safety Research Vehicle Test Laboratory Visit
The CASR vehicle test lab focusses on pedestrian impact crash testing, with capability to conduct pedestrian impact testing to EU/ANCAP protocols. The tests conducted at the lab make an important contribution to the ANCAP star rating for vehicles sold in Australia.
This is a great opportunity to visit this important facility and learn what is being done to encourage a safer vehicle design for vulnerable road users.
Please arrive at 10:45am for an 11:00am start. The tour of the lab will take approximately one hour, followed by a light lunch. The session will conclude at 1:00pm.
Regular public transport is available from the CBD along nearby North Terrace, Kent Town. Limited (timed) parking is available in King William Street and other nearby streets in Kent Town.
Attendees will be required to wear closed toe shoes. Registrations close 13/9/24.
