You’re invited to join our book club discussion on Rob Morgan’s book: Safe System or Stalinist System?

📖 About the session
This book club will explore Rob Morgan’s critique of the Safe System approach, considering its philosophical foundations, implications for road safety policy, and the the ongoing tension between safety, accountability, and personal responsibility.

Morgan’s work has sparked strong reactions across the road safety community, and this session acknowledges that the topic is controversial by nature. But we should be willing to hear—and understand—all points of view, even those we don’t necessarily agree with.
In a context where fatality reductions have plateaued in many jurisdictions, it is important for the sector to reflect critically, consider alternative viewpoints, and challenge ourselves to continually improve.

The session will be an open, respectful discussion. Diverse perspectives are welcome—whether you strongly agree, strongly disagree, or are simply curious to better understand the arguments presented.
