Join us for a Lunch Box Chat this October in recognition of National Safe Work and Mental Health Month!

We’ll explore how to create safer workplaces for those on the road and build a road safety culture that extends beyond work hours. Our panel includes Keith Govias (EML), Jerome Carslake (NRSPP and MUARC), and Nicki Wragg (Swinburne University), who will share their expert insights on this critical issue.

Have you ever considered that drivers drive well because how we drive reflects how we feel, work and live? Driving for work is the most dangerous task a worker is asked to undertake, with vehicle use being the leading cause of work-related traumatic injury. While employers often focus on safety during work hours, does this behaviour extend beyond them? How do we engage workers and the public to make road safety a cultural norm rather than merely a compliance-driven obligation?
