One of the ACRS NSW Chapter’s focuses for 2023-24 is to develop and strengthen regional networks of road safety professionals.

Following on from the Northern Region Forum held in Newcastle earlier this year, the Australasian College of Road Safety (ACRS) NSW Chapter will host a Regional Road Safety Forum in Wollongong.

Members are from all areas of road safety including policy makers, academics, community organisations, federal, state, and local government agencies, private companies, and members of the public.

The main aim of the forum is to network with like-minded professionals in your region.

The event will include short presentations by Illawarra-based road safety practitioners John Wall and Lena Huda.

Presenter: Lena Huda, Co-founder of 30Please and safe-streets-to-school.org, ACRS member
The safety and amenity on the streets where we live and play

Presenter: John Wall, Transport for NSW
A decade of connected vehicle research in the Illawarra

These talks will be followed by refreshments and networking.
